Anil Tailor, 38, of Groby, who is planning to visit India next year with wife Lindsey, said: "It's fantastic that they are doing this. We will definitely consider flying from East Midlands Airport because it's nearer and much less hassle."
And some people say there's no point in EMA because there's BHX

Could it be Flyjet??:
..."But it is about to be made much easier after East Midlands Airport announced it will start flights to the Punjab, in India..."
Nope, sounds like East Midlands Airport Airways lol But seriously:
"Air Slovakia currently puts on three flights a week to Delhi from Birmingham airport via the Slovakian capital Bratislava.....
Is that implying it is Air Slovakia?? Or is it just mentioning that Air Slovakia fly from BHX?? Probably is Air Slovakia, or another airline from that region capitalising on the lack of flights by the national airlines. Similar to what Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan do as well.

Its not FlyJet... That was originally going to be the case but I gather that they've found more lucrative work for their 757. I believe they're now going to be operated by a UK charter airline occasional known my the nick-name "Spotty-M"
