Yep .. Frontier usually takes their a/cs straight into mCO for installation of LiveTV. Haven't seen them do it nonstop before, though ... the winds must have been favourable ...

I tried looking up the flight number, but no luck.

It would be unusual - but not out of the question - for a Frontier aircraft to be coming from Toulouse. usually they come from Hamburg Finkenwerder (XFW).

If it is Frontier, it must have flown from XFW to TLS.

cheers

I went to look for it at the time it was supposed to arrive but I didn't see any A319s of any airline come in at that time.

It's a Frontier A319. They send them here first (I think) to get PTV's installed before going home to DEN. I've seen 2 of the A318's here so far.

The range on the standard 319 is not enough to bring it non-stop. If they did install Bladder tanks on the inside they would have to be removed and then returned to TLS. I have yet to see a F9 319/318 at MCO. But as of late I have not been able to get to the airport that much.

I haven't been able to look but is F9 now using 18's to land on, since they switched airsides?

Also when jetBlue ferries a plane over from TLS, it goes to JFK, then comes down to MCO for PTV's. We should get the next A318 (803) in next week sometime?

Frontier switched airsides? This is the first I've heard of this. They used a Delta gate before, correct? What's the scoop, Justin?

I think this changed back around in August. They are using the 30-59 gates (not sure which one though).

Justin

Just checked Orlando's website....flight 674 is arriving at gate 55.  Smile

On thing about Frontier and there new planes, the first revenue flight is actually flown from say PHX to DIA, as then the plane is a used palne and not new thus saving them dollars in taxes. I read this in an airline magazine and it was something I never thought of myself.

Thats odd because the other day I saw a Frontier landing on 17.

I think Frontier usually stops in Newfoundland on the way to MCO, at least it did the last time I checked flytecomm.com when a new A319 was arriving.
