I was surfing in Boeing website and found in the orders and deliveries page that Korean Air have order 2 more 747. Here are my questions, why hasn't Boeing make an announcemente of the order? What version of the 747 is 747-400, 747-400ER, 747-400F or 747-400ERF?

KE will not be receiving any more 744 pax versions as we currently have sufficient to meet requirements. Any new orders will be 777's, A330's, A380's and 7E7. Only 744 orders will be for 744ERF (I believe no 744F orders in this bunch).
Reason for the 744ERF freighter is to eliminate the required fuel stop at ANC on some flights and allow a heavier payload ICN-LAX.
MD-11's are scheduled to be phased out by 2005.

Thanks for the explanation, ConcordeBoy. Oddly enough, I was under the impression that, for Airbus anyway, it was the other way around: announcing orders as soon as an agreement had been reached to tentatively sign a letter of intent. As far as Boeing not announcing these, I got the impression from early posts that the orders were signed, sealed and finalized but, for some reason, weren't yet publicly announced.
