The leases that US Airways rejected in bankruptcy were to expire in January. An extension has been made to September 2004.

I believe that it has to be a win(at this time) for the airport. It does not sound like US Airways is ready to drop everything and leave. And yet, this also might give the airline more time to plan on leaving in the future. PIT will have to at least sweaten the pot a little if they are to be considered serious in keeping US Airways there. Let the fireworks begin.
