Unions Against KL-AF Merger. What Now?

According to the Dutch teletext the Unions in Holland have a major conflict with KLM and do not rule out actions. The subject is the higher then promised number of jobcuts as result of the merger.

At the same time, on a short newsflash on the French TV, they said that the french unions are against the merger. The reason I didn't hear. ( But I can Guess...)

Can something like this delay or even cancell a merger this size?
