Hey all, wen't out to EUG tonight for some spotting (They have great spotting) AHhhhhhh I want in the concourse! Anyways I waited with mom for about 15 or so minutes, and finally got to see the CR7 land in best looking United Express livery I have seen! Absolutely beautiful! It looked so big for some odd reason. I remember when QX used to park their CR7 on the north ramp I used to get like 30 feet from the "Wing Tip" LOL anyways, the CRJ-700 looked really big tonight for some reason, then again, it is longer than a 737-500! Brought back some good memos!

damnit brian, the only time I see anything like that is driving out to the lake, every 10th time I catch a -200 on short final.
tell me when some sweet charters are coming in, and we're there. Any football ones, for the Stanford game in two weeks maybe?

Nice to hear UAex is flying the 7 series into Eug now. Is this to SFO or DIA???
Last time I flew them EUG-Denver they had just got rid of the full size jets on this route (at one time they were even flying a 757), so they had me on the older CRJ 5?...too cramped for a 3 hour flight IMO. Anything else new happening at EUG?

The Mesa CR7 arrives from DEN at 19:15 and departs to DEN at 06:00. As far as the charters...if you're that interested, I can get back to you on that. We always get a fax that has the schedule for all charters during the month, which airline operates them, what type of aircraft, where they'll be parked and when. Just let me know!

You mean, Mesa actually operated a flight? Was it on-time? I thought they were just a financial company looking to buy out other companies.

Let me tell you, Mesa is certainly the "bad guy" of the regional airline world, but, I have flown them before and I thought the F/As were very nice, one was a little timid and shy (Kinda akward) I have to admit that my flight from PHX-EUG was late more then an hour supposebly because the CRJ couldn't get out of Bakersfield, CA... ANd there was a pink sticky substance on the tray table... However the LAV was very clean!

Many times 515MJ and 513MJ are both here at DEN at the same time on the south side of A Concourse. The differences in the 700's and the 200's are very obvious when they are side by side. The 700 definitely stands taller and has a wider wing span (about six feet total).

When did UA fly a 757 DEN-EUG? I don't ever recall that...

I saw a white-tailed CR7 at PDX on Tuesday afternoon near concourse E... must have been those.
When growing up, I frequently flew EUG-DEN on those 727/737s... haven't had the heart to do it on an RJ now - just fly F9 from PDX and get an Airbus.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I really really miss the mainline aircraft here at EUG. I don't ever think there was a 757 into EUG. Are schedule used to be made up of 727s to DEN and BAe146s, it changed a little here and there though. They also flew 5 Shuttle flights between here and SFO, and after the shuttle went down, UA immediately deployed the Airbus 320s and 319s into EUG (Of course this was after 9/11) so we only had Three full size planes a day to SFO

It was my understanding that Mesa only had a deal to operate turbo-props under United Express at this time. Are you telling me that they are taking the 700's away from the America West Express program to feed United routes? If that's the case, then UAL is definitely behind the Mesa-ACA deal!!!

This is just a re-deployment of the CR7s (Just a few) that were removed from the HPX contract, XJ needed to find somewhere to fly them and it wasn't possible at HPX right now
