Flying FR MAN-DUB-BHX probably on 732s although may get "lucky" with a 738. I also need to get to GLA at the end of the month from either BHX or EMA so I'll probably opt for FlyBe. on what I imagine will be a DH8.

Pe@rson,
Ryanair 732's are the worst aircraft I have ever flown on. The seats are falling apart and they're really noisy. However I suppose its worth experiencing the once as it will make you smile next time a shining new 738 turns up
If you want to get on one they are used on most flights from UK regional airports to DUB or if you are close to STN (or Glasgow) the PIK route is usually always a 732 as well (from my experience).

It looks more and more like I'll be going to London on business:
1. On AA or BA, haven't decided yet. As UA has given me the message that my continued business with them is no longer important, I need to find someone new. I've never tried either airline. I'm leaning towards trying both, so that I can decide if I want to try AA domestically. (Come on UA, throw me a bone!)
2. Route will be LAX to LHR
3. The non-stops on both airlines use 777's !!!
Oh how I long for the day when the skies were truly Friendly!

4U will be a A319 most likely while HLX flies 737-800 only.
i chose 4u on the way to MAD because their flight is 1 hour earlier, leaving more time on the first evening.
and i picked hlx on the flight back because it was 10 euros cheaper. i am paying 180 euros return for 2 passengers.
