Hi!

On October 9th I flew on a Delta 777-200/ER from London (LGW) to Atlanta (ATL). I couldn't see the registration of the aircraft, but it had the new 3-3-3 seat layout on economy. I'm not sure, but I think this is the first aircraft to be changed into this layout. Does anyone know the registration?

I flew back ATL-LGW yesterday (October 14th) on a 767-300/ER. I couldn't see the registration of that one either, but I did ask the flight attendant who could not give my the registration but said that it was Delta ship 1683. Anyone know the registration of ship 1683?

The 777 N867DA as far as I know is the only one with 3-3-3 layout.

1683.....is there even a ship 1683?

There is no ship 1683. On the 14th it was either ship 1613 or 1503. And from LGW on the 9th it was ship 7002.

Hi guys and thanks for the help!

Atlamt:
1613 sound likely (if you are sure it was either 1613 or 1503). I might have misheard the flight attentant when he told me the ship number, hearing "one-six-eight-three" instead of "one-six-one-three". Do you by any chance have the registration?

Your LGW-ATL on 9/10 was DL011? In that case: N861DA.

The ATL-LGW was DL058? In that case: N193DN.

Give me the flight nrs and I will confirm.

Regards
Frederic

Hi Frederic!

Yes, it was DL11 LGW-ATL, but the ATL-LGW was DL10 (nightflight)

So, N861DA has been changed to the 3-3-3 config also?

Asgeir

Hello Asgeir,

Here we go:

09/10 LGW-ATL DL B772 N861DA DL011
14/10 ATL-LGW DL B763 N154DL DL010 (this is ship 1504)

That is what the ACARS logs of several spotters say to me!

When all have seen N861DA operating DL011 on 09/10, it must be upgraded to 3-3 too!

Regards
Frederic

He again Frederic!

The DL11 flight I took departed from ATL on 14/10 at 21:50 and landed at LGW on 15/10 at 10:45. Is is possible that the data that you have is for the DL11 flight from the day before (the one that landed in LGW on 14/10)? I am asking because I seem to remember that the aircraft I flew on was in the new color scheme, and because the flight attendant told me it was ship 1613 (I asked him while I was boarding and he walked into the cockpit to check it while I waited).

Please let me know if this could be the case

Regards,
Asgeir

Asgeir flight 10 on 14/10 was ship 1613. Reg is N1613B.
Flight 11 on 9/10 was ship 7002. Reg N861DA.

I can assure you these are the right ship numbers. Do 35A and 49B sound familiar.

I can confirm that N861DA has the 3-3-3 layout as I was on that airplane (CVG-FRA) last month. It still wears the mid 90´s livery while the other plane that has the new configuration (N867DA) wears the new Deltaflot paintscheme.

Now, where have I seen those numbers recently? Big grin

Big thanks to everyone for their help. Now I can write the registrations down in my travel log, resting assured that they are indeed the right ones.

Asgeir

Wow, this is getting complicated! Big grin

So you can be sure about N861DA.

About the ATL-LGW: you landed at 15/10 in LGW? Woops, my mistake! Looked at 14/10 (thought you meant that you landed on 14/10).

On 15/10, DL010 was operated by N1613B.

Frederic
