It's basically impossible to judge which aircraft is "better" from a "comfort" point of view, as the layouts between airlines can be night vs. day.

I'd prefer to ride a Triple7, but either worlds well.

Easy question, difficult answer. I think both plane are great planes. The A330-300 is more quiet, the 777-200 is bigger.......

That's easy..

777 of course, viewed as passenger. Quick & fast takeoff, POWERRRRRRRR, smooth landings, what would anyone want more.

ps. I flew the RG 772 AMS-CDG-AMS, great flight.

Depends on what class and what airline,

The 2-4-2 layout in economy in the A330 is nice, 3-3-3 as used by MyTravel not so nice. 3-3-3 layout typical in economy on the 777 is okay other than 3 seats which are neither aisle or window - 3-4-3 on a 777 as used by Emirates fits into the 'MyTravel' class of comfortable i.e. not very.

Business class entirely depends on the airline - 2-3-2 on an airbus is more cramped than 2-3-2 on the 777 - but most airlines do 2-2-2 business class on the airbus (not emirates).

Emirates use 2-4-2 on their airbus (332's) and 3-4-3 on the 777's - if you ask pretty much anyone who has flown on both in the Emirates fleet - im pretty sure all would prefer the A330.

Personally dont really have a preference - probably the Airbus purely because of the seat 2-4-2 layout - less chance of not getting a window or an aisle seat !!

Just a detail, what about seat mile costs ?

Can Imagine A333 is better there because less pounds and therefor less fuel per passenger ...

2-4-2 is probably more comfortable then 3-3-3 or 2-5-2 in economy with seats of the same width.

Same goes for business seats of same the width 2-2-2 better the 2-3-2.

Awesome power seems more important for some folks here ..

We should not be comparing these two aircraft. We should compare the 330 with a 767 ot a 340 with a 777.
