Hi guys, do you which airlines fly the B767 (any version) with PTV in each economy seat? I don't think many airlines do that... why?

USA-based carriers:
UA - 763
CO - 762, 764

Why? b/c most B763 aircraft were purchased with PTV weren't mainstream... when they did become mainstream, airlines continuing to purchase B767 wanted to maintain a consistant product.

Because PTV's and the equipment needed to run are heavy, would add about 1500-2000 kgs to weight of a B767. This would mean fewer pax on long haul routes

I think LHs 767s might have PTVs in Eco because they got them from Lauda Air...

Yeah, I remember seeing Lauda Air 767-300ER with PTV in coach. I think they have PTV many years ago!

Let's just blame it on yields.

Obviously I meant "do you know" which airlines fly the 767 etc  Big grin

Thanks for the replies. So it's mainly a weight problem that lead to the decision to install or not a PTV system also for economy passengers.
