Now I know that AA has daily service to AA), Japan">NRT...but I think I remember that ANA tried flying this at one time as well...maybe 1993-1994ish but I can never find anything that supports this thought of mine....does anybody remember...and what type of a/c they would have used???

NH never had a route from San Jose to Japan. The first time ANA served the N. California market was about 2000. This current route is SFO-NRT.
