I was browsing through the database and noticed a Monarch Airways Airbus A300 at London Heathrow (LHR) on the 29th September 2003.

Does anybody have any info on this? I'd be very grateful.

It was operating for Aer Lingus to and from Dublin, the same day Aer Lingus chartered an air2000 A321 to operate Dublin-Edinburgh-Dublin.

Due to continuing industrial relations problems at the airline, Aer Lingus are sub-chartering many aircraft to operate their flights, and in some instances they are combining several services onto one larger aircraft.

As the photographer I can definitely confirm that photo was taken at LHR on the date claimed, to be honest I had never seen a Monarch A300 before at that time.

I got that picture too-but I cut the nose off Angry

EI have had a few aircraft operating on their routes out of LHR recently including a Skynet 737 and a Flightline 146.

For the record, G-OJMR left MAN that day as the EI 174P en route to DUB and arrived back at MAN as the EI 192P. Presumably it did a couple of DUB-LHR rotations?
