Of all the Low Cost Carriers around the world, which airline operates the longest scheduled single sector service? I know that Virgin Blue operates SYD-PER non-stop, do any US carriers operate coast to coast?

ATA's flight from EWR to SFO (TZ7) Has a 6h18min block. 6h25min for HP's BOS-LAX morning service. (HP405.) That's about all I can come up with at this late hour.

I know for JetBlue our JFk-OAK is blocked at 6:15 going west-bound probably a little bit more during winter time when the winds our stonger. But i know from experience from our JFK/LGB flts...actual flt time can be about 6h 10+ min. Hope this answers ur question from the jetblue point of view  Smile

From the Washington DC area, JetBlue flies IAD-OAK at 5 hours 40 minutes for the 2442 mile trip. Southwest flies BWI-SJC at 5 hours 15 minutes for their 2436 mile trip. Information is from Skyguide Oct 03.
