I have just returned from a 4 day trip to Auckland from Sydney. I booked my tickets with Air NZ and both flights in economy on their new A320's.

And I will have to say that the seats were the BEST I have ever had in economy. The leather is simply fantastic and very soft.... The pitch is ok and the IFE (not seatback) was pretty good for a 3 hour flight. The food was bad on the way over and decent on the way back. But the seats - WOW.........

I can only recommend you all to fly with these planes - MUCH better that the usual QF and other NZ seats/planes.
