MH is expected to lease two additional A332 from ILFC and the first A332 is expected to be delivered in January 2004. Anyone else have further information regarding this matter? Thanx.

Regards.

Might those be the former SN A332´s which are currently with LH. They have them on shortterm lease only and the three A332s in service with MH are also former SN a/c. Would make sense to me.

Aren't the three they operate now ex-VG Airlines A330-200s? TAM is also trying to downsize their A330 fleet by leasing out.

I think ex SN birds makes sense as I believe MH would wanna retain those seats and have the same interior for all A332s.

They need the A332 to fill the gap between their B734s and B772s. I am just hoping that these aircrafts will not be used for domestic services, but rather to medium-haul destinations such as Perth, Beijing and Nagoya where PTVs will be appreciated.

I have always wondered why they are not expiditing their B772 delivery? That could help them out.

The ex SN A330s used by Lufthansa are not ILFC owned aircraft. Isn't Swiss planning to get rid of a few A330s? Theirs are practically identical to the SN birds, so that would make sense too...
