Funny how the words "bling-bling" can be connected with a demographic making less than $25,000 a year. However, I am quite interested to hear your 'creative' explanation as to how this could be the case.

To what demographic? People who make under $25,000 a year? To a certain extent, it makes no sense. Its funny, but from an airline marketing standpoint, its somewhat pointless.
Are you implying that...... wait, nevermind. I'm not even going to touch it. I'm sure one of our left wing friends will get to it soon enough and next time I check this thread, there will be like 269 replies.
It's a new day. Every moment matters. Now, more than ever.

I get it and I make quite a bit over $25K a year. I guess because its a hip-hop reference, only people in the ghetto and those on welfare are supposed to get the joke. This coming from our socioeconomic expert here...

Everytime I come around yo city
Pinky ring worth about fifty
Everytime I buy a new ride
Lorinsers on Yokahama tires
or for the Bethune version
Everytime we fly around yo city
777 worth about fifty mil
Everytime we get a new plane
PTVs or Michelin AIRs
It`s the airline with tha winged headrests
Blue and gold globe with tha leather cover
If flying sucks then try us
Then toss that low cost carrrier cuzz you know you dont lover them
Other ariliens fly a used ass jet
Then turned around and sold the crap to Northwest
They put 25 inch pitched seats in cramped up coach

It's putting CO in the popular mainstream. That creates image that will turn in to being cool and catch on with the popular pop culture. It is basically PR to the masses not necessarily to the affluent core who can fly anyone. Hip-hop has a tremendous pull that has made "Tommy Helfiger","Polo" and "Prada" household name beyong the rich. That translates to money, period.

Well Continental has managed to attract nothing but a bunch of school kids, Gen"X"er's, and grown men who still live at home with their momma. While it's a feeble attempt at marketing, (and by the way I AM black) geared towards persons who don't fly that much in the first place . I LOVE to fly but that billboard's humor was about as dry as a 90 year old female ,and I'm sure that drew some serious right wing comments.
Airline photography. Whether they're fully clothed, butt naked, having issues or confused I'm taking pictures!!

Could you please translate that into English or another formal language?
I don't think the color of your skin has anything to do with this topic, apparently you feel it does. Could you elaborate on your feelings?
For the record I am not overly conservative, though you seem to suggest that anyone who would post a reply to your post is.

: I'm 30, and Texan. Don't understand it, but it sounds stupid. Hip or not, airline adds aught to cater to all the public not just a few who know what B
: oh i forgot guys dont get me wrong I love Northwest but i couldnt help poke fun at them with my lyrics...
