After a lot of years, it seams that SAS will reintroduce its services to Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) from the next spring. This is because SAS and Maersk Air decided to break their partnership.
Venice is the 4th largest Italian airport with almost 6 millions of passengers per year. Do you have any news from Scandinavia?

What I could see it will be Snowflake (SAS LCC) flying from ARN twice a week with start from march 28. Using B738. Don't know if they will be flying from CPH too. Wasen't listed for the moment.

Yes, i just received the confirmation from a friend who work at SK, SAS will reintroduce a daily flight from CPH to VCE operated by a MD80 and Snowflake will introduce a twice per week flight from ARN to VCE.

The daily flights between VCE and CPH will be 3: 2 operated by Maersk Air and one by SAS.. it seams that now DM and SK are in competition..

IMPORTANT NOTE: The passengers that flew to VCE to ARN in 2002 were 20.172.. fortunately SAS understood the necessity to introduce a direct flight.. while AZ..
