The last great aviation record may fall next year as either Steve Fossett or Sir Richard Branson will attempt to fly around the world non-stop and solo in a single engine jet. Designed by Burt Rutan and built by Scaled Composites in Mojave, California, USA, the Virgin Atlantic Global Flyer will circle the globe without refueling.

Flight testing starts in December, with an attempt for the record in late 2004.

Good Luck!
