I sure do miss this lady. Every year about this time, when most people think of another "Great Pumpkin", I think of this one. I sure do miss her.

BI used to fly the Big Orange to LHR right ? I am sure I saw it once there, in my very dim and distant yoof.

Happy Halloween, Linus.

I flew on her a number of times when I was younger. My father worked for Braniff and piloted her numerous times, and my mom who was a BI flight attendant served on her many times. 747 Braniff Place what a great time that was. I still have so much Braniff Memorbilia that brings back many memories
of a time when Braniff used to say "if you've got it flaunt it".

JGPH1A:

I am certain that Braniff flew to Gatwick (as in the picture posted), although I guess they could have diverted to Heathrow on some occasion.

One of the Braniff pumpkins was the first 747 I ever saw up close. Truely no other aircraft is as deserving of the title GREAT Pumpkin because it was one big plane (especially to a 6 year old kid at the time).

Yeah, I don't remember of other airlines is Braniff once before and went out of business from years ago. It is very nice to see with oranges plane by B747 aircraft. Is that was possible about those old airlines in the past?
