For those of you fortunate enough to receive BBC World, SQ's A340-500 will be featured on BBC World's FASTTrack travel documentary at the following times:
Saturday 1st November at 0430 GMT
Repeated: Sunday 2nd at 0130; Monday 3rd at 2030; Tuesday 4th at 1330;
Wednesday 5th at 1630; Thursday 6th at 0130 & 0830 GMT.
Here's a brief description from the BBC World website:
"As Singapore Airlines launches the world's longest non-stop commercial plane journey, the next edition of FASTTRACK previews this Singapore to Los Angeles route and finds out how the 16-hour flight is possible. There are visits to Disneyland in Florida to ask whether its new multi-million dollar Mission Space ride will pay off in such a tough economic climate, and Yosemite National Park, where there's a delicate balance between attracting tourists and protecting the environment."

I will definitely watch it - but the guy who presents FastTrack is such a knob - he clearly has absolutely NO CLUE about travel or the travel industry. He should be doing The Holiday Program, and they should get someone decent on who knows about travel etc. I volunteer my services.

Can you imagine Jeremy Clarkson doing FASTTrack? That'll be such a craker, I reckon. I can already hear him saying 'This airplane handles like a giraffe'. hahaha!

Damn it!
I wonder if someone can stream it on the internet? BBC doesn't give us UK viewers the opportunity of seeing this glamorous spectacle and BBC WORLD.

Hehe - yes, nice mental image there.
"The new Singapore Airlines First Class suite is pants-wettingly comfortable - and plenty of room for a bunk up with one of the lovely Singapore Girls phwoarrr " - he's a knob too, but at least he's funny.

I think BBC News 24 is the closest thing you can get to BBC World in the UK, they might screen the documentaries as well. There's a good chance, since while I was over in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago I saw Tim Sebastian's HARDTalk.
And Jonathan, that's a classic. You crack me up, mate!
