Hi,
Yesterday afternoon I noticed a 747 flying above my house. It got my attention because of the 4 contrails and because it was not on a normal flight path for my area. I live on the east coast of Florida, and most flight paths are north/south. I'd appreciate it if anyone could determine what flight this could be. Details follow:
Location: Vero Beach, FL (East coast 1 hour south Melbourne)
Plane: 747 (with 95% accuracy). I could tell it was not a 340 or 707.
Could not get binoculars cause I was not at my house.
Time: 5:15pm, Sunday November 2
Flight path: Heading W to WNW
If I had to guess, I would say it was heading toward Houston or LA. But from where? the Caribbean?

I tried looking on the passur site for Boca Raton, but that only shows up to Stuart Florida.
My guess would be that it was some sort of cargo flight like Atlas Air or Polar Air Cargo maybe going from San Juan to LAX or something.

My other theory could be that it was a departure from MIA that took it out further over the ocean than normal than came back inland, by then it was very high up and heading west northwestward.
Lately the Virgin 747s out of MCO as I made in another post have been heading northwest after take off instead of northeast, it could have been doing something like that and getting on the flight pattern
