Does he have a tug or does he powerback the 707? Can a 707 power back? I am suprised he did not figure out a way to put a regular jetway in.. I guess he may not have ALL the money in the world. If his wife does his ATC work he should train the kids to load bags and drive the tug (if he has one)

Impressive!!
I am surprised that the 707 doesn't look bigger. I thought that a 707 should look way larger compared to a house. But maybe the house is very big too!!!
Anyway, it's nice to see that both planes are parked like cars, and that they both have an exclusive path to the house.
Very, very nice. That's definetely my dream house!!!

Hey, Thaigold, I was thinking the same.
Maybe JT is also an Airliners.net member. After reading the whole IHT story, he could perfectly be one of us...

Hey call me crazy but from someone who makes his living flying airplanes I'm not real sure that I'd want my "work" so close to me. I have to admit that the architecture though really ties in nicely with the planes. Good for him!

Hrmmm. Looks like they have an inn at the country club attached to the development. Wonder what they'd think about doing some spotting there if you were a guest?

Simply amazing, what a real aviation lover! I envy him...do you think we'll ever see a B744 of his in the collection? A jetbridge at the house would have been a great touch! I wish him well with his house, looks GREAT!!!

Flyingbronco05,
The house exists and John Travolta lives in Ocala, trust me. According to my buddy he flies over often in his "huge jet with a red tail"...if only he knew...sigh.
The people I know who (claim to) have met him all say he's a real class act. I can believe it. Great asset to the aviation community!!

So how DOES he get the 707 out of its parking spot ? He must use a tug, right ?
P.S. I am writhing in envy, foaming at the mouth and biting the carpet as we speak.
26 Flyingbronco05: With all the money he has, why doesn't he have a bigger house? The reason it looks fake is because the trees covering parts of the plane look edited o

41 United_Fan: I bet that 707 shakes the plaster in the neighbors' houses! I wonder how much fuel he can take on with a 7,000' runway? Is his 707 hush-kitted ?
42 CV990: Hi guys! I'm quite humble and due to that I never exposed myself to you guys about my house. I have an airport too with a nice 50's architecture with

51 AvroArrow: I wonder if I'm too old for him to adopt me? I'd help wash the fleet!!
52 Pl4nekr4zy: *DROOL* That is AWESOME!!! I wonder what other sweet aviation stuff Mr. Travolta has, though not much can top having your very own 707!

55 Tjwgrr: Wasn't there talk of JT considering the acquisition of a 747SP?
56 DLMHT: A bit off the topic, but does anybody remember what happened to the Constellation JT was looking at? I believe this was before he purchased the B707.

81 DeltaRules: (drooling) That's awesome...I can't believe what I'm seeing!! I can see him making room for a 747 there....there's always a need for terminal expansio
82 WickedPenguin: That house is unbelievable - although I don't find it at all coincidental that he owns a 707. One of the core beliefs of Scientology (JT's religion) i

84 Maiznblu_757: I was wondering why his 707 was flying into Ocala so much. I see it on my flight tracker all the time. This is obviously the reason. Simply incredible

92 BR715-A1-30: Is this a high security place, or could we fly in and visit if we wanted?
93 Clewatcher: You would have to make arrangements with the local FAA and whoever is in charge of this place.
94 Flyf15: This is a private airport, so you would have to discuss flying in there with the owner. Most likely, they would deny you permission.
95 Clewatcher: It might be, That you have to talk with someone you are visiting and that person goes to the owner to make arrangements.
96 Tiger119: Who do you think paid for that blast fence? And I wonder where one would go to apply to fly the right seat with him? I have always wanted to see a B70
97 JBirdAV8r: I think they have an inn, maybe if you rented a room they'd let you fly in (actually, I'm almost sure they would) I looked into buying a lot there...j

99 Tanyaluvs2fly: JT has a house on an island up in northern Maine... Guess sometimes he has flown into Bangor Airport...
100 Godbless: Reply no. 100 so I guess I have to say something here too. I remember seeing that plane at LTN back in June, but I didn't know where and how it spent
101 Ahsanf28: A house like that ! A 707 parked in your driveway ! Now I certainly know the meaning of the phrase - " HEAVEN ON EARTH "
102 LMML 14/32: I reckon the 707 is very carefully eased out of its parking by a tug, turned 180 degrees and out of the "driveway". Pulled out to the holding area jus

104 L-188: With all due respects to JT, heaven is not a 707 parked in the driveway. A 727 would fit the bill though.

106 Kingsford: I don't understand : Is his house linked to an airport or does he have his own landing strip big enough to welcome a 707 ? If yes, anybody has a pictu
