Good evening,

for a private project, I need details as

- fleet size
- aircraft types
- registrations
- fate (foundation, why and when did the airline stop it's services)
- who took over the aircraft

for these airlines:

- Interconair Ireland
- Denver Ports of Call
- MAOF
- Air Berlin USA

It would be nice if YOU could help me.

Thank you and have a nice evening

Air Berlin USA? I haven't heard that name for a long time! They are still around as Air Berlin GmbH. Must have been in the early 1990s when they became a German company.

Air Berlin USA was founded in 1978 as a wholly owned subsidiary of an Oregon based American agricultural company, Lelco. Ops began in April 1979 with a base at Berlin's Tegel airport, operating charter flights for German tour operators, mainly to the Mediterranean and to the Canary Islands.
Chairman and President resp. were Leonard and Kim Lundgren.
If memory serves me right, they started off with B707s, later switching to B737s. Incidentally, Kim Lundgren is with 26 per cent still the biggest single shareholder in Air Berlin USA's successor, Air Berlin GmbH.

Ports of Call Air began ops in '68 with Convair 990s (later replaced with 707s). Ports of Call Air the airline for a Denver travel agency. At the end of '86 they changed their name to Skyworld. Ceased ops in July 1989.
