Was It The First Swiss 343 In USA?

Hi!

I just went to airliners.net photo engine to find out that what I presume was the first USA SWISS visit with their brand new 343. It was in Boston and any feedback from our US enthusiasts if the 343 came to other US airports like MIA, ORD, LAX or EWR/JFK?

Don't believe it's made an appearance at jfk yet but can't confirm. Starting next month, spotting it at LAX will be as common as a Southwest 737  Big grin

Hi Michael.

Yeah, next month they will start comming to LAX, I'll be flying on the 15th. December from LAX to ZRH, you better get a lot of the SWISS MD11's now because they soon will be out. Another option is to go to Mojave, at least 4 ex: SWISS are parked there now!

Looks like we (JFK) will be getting the MD-11 later in December (replacing a ZRH-JFK 332) then starting 1/4/04 it switches to 343.
