Hi everybody,

would you be able to tell me when each of the (5?) DC8s of Lufthansa Cargo/German Cargo Services was retired?

Also, when did German Cargo become LH Cargo, was that 1995?

Thanks in advance,

Daniel Smile

Question #2: this will help:

It is somewhat unclear, May 1st 1993 is mentioned, as well as 1995.

Nah, the 707F's were the Curry-Bombers.  Smile
The DC-8's were painted in updated GEC colors (a grey belly and a yellowish tail) from the inauguration before they got the LCAG paintscheme in 1993 or so.

Yeah with curry bombers I meant German Cargo in general, I even remember these ugly yellow birds, I mean LH yellow is pretty, but German Cargo was downright ugly ...but if I read you correctly, May 1st, 1993 would then be the date of "conversion"?
