Was driving in the south of Calgary and saw a Virgin 747-400 on approach for 34. I assume that it is VS019 to SFO as it appears to be delayed into SFO. Probably a medical/mechanical diversion. Just thought I'd let the YYC spotters know.

According to flightarrivals.com VS007 to LAX is also scheduled to land in Calgary at 14:05. Quite odd, will have to watch out my window at work to see if actually comes in as well.

Don't be so negative Greg! We got the AF 777 that wanted to explode! We also got the AA 777 that wanted to burn to a crisp. Both were very exciting to watch as the drama could have unfolded. But noooooo, passengers deplaned normally in both cases. hehehe. But that's two near evacuations of the 777 at YYZ where I was around.

.... isn't YMX closing to pax soon? Or is that just some rumour?
Correct. YMX handles only charter now....primarily TS. All this traffic will migrate to the YUL mega-plex in 2004 if memory serves & YMX will be cargo and Bombardier only, not that much cargo goes thru there.
Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.
