OK, I'm doing some flying this Thanksgiving: San Antonio-Houston (I live in Houston, but I'm flying from SAT round-trip because my...never mind)

Choice 1:
SAT-IAH (CO 752/M80)
-I am a OnePass member (will get 1000 miles + 1000 miles for booking online)
-Can check out new terminal E and widebodies at terminal D (IAH)
-$86 roundtrip

Choice 2:
SAT-HOU (WN 737/737)
-Can check out the new terminal (HOU)
-$92 roundtrip

So, which one? Thanks for your input

I would choose number one. Not only because it is cheaper and you get the miles, but because it is an Maddog MD80!!  Big thumbs up

I have also never been on Continental but I have heard great stuff about them.

Definitely choice one:
- save 6$  Big grin
- get 2000 FF miles
- fly more interesting selection of aircraft
- CO in my opinion offers better service than WN
- check widebodies at Ter. D

I really don't see where you need our advice. It's your time and money.

Nevertheless:
It's a short flight, so I don't see how flying either airline is going to be a momentous experience. I'd choose the airport in Houston that is closest to where I need to go. There's plenty of flights on either of those routes each day, so choosing based on departure time is probably not a concern.

Proud,

That's because I like having people decide things for me, so in case I have a crappy 45-minute flight, I can blame it all on you guys!  Laugh out loud

Thanks for all of your help...I found another fare on CO for $81, that pretty much sealed the deal.
