I was showing the thread re: celebrities on planes to my friend here and he posed this question:

If you could sit next to any celebrity on a flight, who would it be?

For me, Tori Amos. But I think there are only a few of us in the world that would answer that.

Just to elaborate it would be first class on UA's JFK-LHR 777.  Smile

My friend says, "Tom Waits, in Bus. class"

So there you go.

I'll bet alot of a.net members would rather sit on the cockpit jumpseat than next to any celeb that may be in the cabin! I was lucky enough to have that experience pre-9/11, would never be permitted today, so thank you BA and GF crews wherever you are for a truly unique experience!

Id prefer to sit up front with Travolta anyday but if i was stuck in economy in some cramped seats id love to have Catriona Rowntree (the getaway host on channel 9) sitting next to me... but if i was stuck with a male celeb i think it would have to be David Koch (the 7 sunrise host) i have spoken to him before and he is a top bloke and besides he has a good looking daughter as well.

actually any goodlooking female star....Britney would do, but somebody like Charlize Theron...obviously the lady in question would have to sit behind me in Y-class, so when i recline, in other words wack down my seat backwards, I will end up on her lap...  Love
just hope she ain't using that anti-recline thingy u folks discussed recently!

I've been watching reruns of her daytime talk show on Oxygen, and I keep saying it would be nice to talk with Ellen DeGeneres. If you had to sit next to someone, and wanted comfortable, stimulating, funny conversation, I think she would be a kick.

He would say "Yeah".
