Could they be buying the one at Midway?
Proposed discount airline will raise $100 million, officials say

One of two executives wanting to bring a low-cost airline to Pittsburgh International Airport says he and his partner expect to raise more than 100 million dollars.
The two also believe they'll get fast-track regulatory approvals and will have jets flying by June.
Although it generally takes about 18 months for the Federal Aviation Administration to approve a new airline's operating license, executive Travis Tanner says he and Edward Beauvais (boo-VAY') can get one sooner by acquiring another airline's license.
F-A-A officials say they've heard nothing about those plans since Tanner and Beauvais announced the new airline on October 14th.
Beauvais co-founded America West Airlines and served as its chairman from 1981 to 1992 -- a year after America West filed for bankruptcy. Beauvais left Western Pacific in 1996 and the airline liquidated in 1998 after filing for bankruptcy.
