Dear Mozart,
I don't think so, because they cater to different markets: SQ makes the most money out of this flight with passengers (like myself next Sunday ), who fly FRA-JFK, and they fill up that aircraft quite nicely, besides it's a codeshare with LH.

I'm not sure if they make money with German pax on that flight. The fares are allways rockbottom low. So I am not sure, if they will continue the daily flight schedule once they have the SIN-JFK flight

The plan is to continue FRA-JFK. And yes, those flights are below breakeven.

That sounds awesome, ALL longhaul economy should be 37in pitch. Just flew BA's World Traveler Plus product LHR-JFK and frankly, as a business traveler, the extra room was worth the money!
