What does Reso'cha mean on JAL's special livery? I have seen many pictures and even have the model airplane, but still cant figure out what it represents. Anyone know? Thanks a lot..

I think it's a play on words of sorts- these aircraft fly to JAL's resort destinations. Before Reso'cha was adapted, aircraft had a similar livery with "Super Resort Express" titles.

Yes, a play on words. I heard that it means "Resort Charter".

It's actually Klingon for "gullible."  Big grin

Japanese like to shorten words whenever possible so: Reso is Resort, just without the (rt). And Cha is Charter, just without the (rter).

This is another good example of Japanese shortening words:
All Nippon Airways - ANA. Japanese name is Zen Nippon Kuyu. But people in Japan calls ANA - Zeniku. The first two letters are taken from each word to create Zeniku, so everyone in Japan calls ANA zeniku, not Zen Nippon Kuyu.
