Hello, I am here at the Double Tree Hilton/JFK and have all day off to do whatever. I was wondering if anyone could give my directions that I could tell a cab driver to get me to a good viewing spot. Would it be better to take the shuttle to the airport then a cab from there to the spot? Or a cab from the hotel to a good spot? I would really appreciate any help, as soon as possible. Thanks.
Brady

If you needed this info for sunday, it might already be too late now, but these last few days they have been taking off 31L (howard beach spot) You get there taking Cross Bay Blvd south from 157th street (train A's) JFK station is a few blocks away) and when you pass the first long bridge over water make a left or a right on the little parking lot. Arrivals on 31 right can be taken from the Boston Market or Costco in Rockaway Blvd (thats near the northeast corner of the airport property.
