Hi people,
corporate IDs are pretty fast changing these days and are an integral and highly important part of an airline's marketing strategy.
They represent the airline like nothing else does and are THE one sign a customer has in mind when recognizing an airline, obviously so important that Aeroflot decided to keep its old logo from soviet times on the new livery...
Now here goes my question:
What airline logo would you chose as THE most outstanding one of all times?
I am NOT talking about liveries here, just the logo representing an airline.

National Airlines' 'Sun King' was a classic as was Pan Am's 'Blue Globe'. The very old TWA Globe was not beautiful universally recognized. I liked the old BA Union Jack much better than any subsequent design efforts, it was very stylish and beautiful and "classy". Braniff International's entire plane was its logo, especially the beautiful 747sp Orange Pumpkin.
Currently I like Dragonair's Dragon and China Airlines' Orchid.
25 Skymileman: I am quite surprised that nobody has yet mentioned the Delta "Widget." It appears on the paint job that many people have claimed as their favourite. I
26 Ardian: Why? Because they simply give a real statement about the country of origin
38 Qexonial: Good day, Definitely Qantas. The Kangaroo really is a very popular and widely known figure of th Australians. You just look at the logo and "snap", yo

44 Kevin752: I choose Lufthansa, United and American.
45 Tiger119: TWA Double Globes, Pan Am's Blue Globe and AA with the eagle between the As. I also liked the Ozark birds.
46 Kingsford: Without a doubt the ruling logo must be Singapore Airlines for easy recognition and consistency. Others I would put up there are Qantas and Thai AW !
53 StarFlyer: Very surprised nobody came up with Air New Zealand's logo! I just love how it changes from blue to green (teal) and the koru is obviously representing
54 Jsnww81: Without a doubt, Texas International's "Lone Star" scheme (1972-1981) and the original Continental "meatball" (1968-1986). After the Frontier and Peop
55 VCE: Without any doubt Alitalia and American Airlines.
60 TS: Hello guys, what about Alaska Airlines. The smiling man is nice to look at. The typography is dynamic & evokes thoughts of Alaska's ice & snow. Other
61 AA777: #1- AA --- Nothing beats the AA and the eagle #2- BA #3- Qantas- the "roo" on the tail is very original, unique to Australia. #4- MEA's Cedar of Leba
62 Usairwys757: Ill go with, LH, QF, US, and AC. All of those are fun and not boring to look at, Especially love the QF logo. Cheers!
64 Gamps: I think the "Centaur" of Air India is also a cool one. Pretty forward looking logo when you consider it was designed in 1948 (according to their websi
67 Philaboy: QANTAS The white kangaroo in the red tail is a logo that you can look at, and tell what country that is from. The kangaroo says "AUSTRALIA" USAirways
