Hey everyone. I have a question about Swiss Airlines service. I'm planning to go from ORD-ZRH on my way to India on a Swiss MD-11 first class and I'm just wondering if people have enjoyed that airline/plane/service. Any insight would be great.

SAA is a carbon copy of Swiss first and I have been SAA first and it is marvelous. One of the worlds best.

Remember in 2001 or 2000 it was voted the best first in the world Swiss.

Swiss first class is excellent. You only have four seats or better say beds abreast (when flat, they more than two meters in length, about 6 foot 9). Look it up here, click on the seating plan of the first class.

I got an upgrade to Swiss First from Business Class on an A330.
It is incredibly good. Smart, efficient, personable with the best food in the sky served with incredible finesse.

Its a pity that such a great airline has such financial problems.
