Today I see a Miami Air 738 flew into BOI from Puerto Vallarta. Is this a seasonal service? The flight number doesn't "look" like a charter.

I believe Miami Air only does charters.

We see quite a few Miami Air flights in MSY, all of which operate as charters. Some originate here, while some stop here to clear customs. Miami Air is a charter-only operation flying 727-200's and 737-800's.

Always a charter..sometimes goes to the strangest places with the strangest lines! My dad was F/O on the 727 with them for awhile, and was about to upgrade to Capt on the 738.

Finally an answer for you.
The Governor of Idaho, Dirk Kempthorne , along with an entourage of state officials ,economic and such, were in SW Mexico this last week. Also,a bunch of local media went as well. It took me awhile to find the little Mexican town they went to in relation to PVR.
They also took along some health professionals to help down there as well.
It is nice to see where our 6% sales tax is going!
Anyway, I hope you are still looking for an answer!
