Hi all,

Have just booked LGW-PFO for early September 2004.

I don't know if anyone here knows or works for MON but I was wondering if anyone knew what aircraft type I should expect? I would think 757 but any help appreciated

Ben Pritchard

Since when did Monarch start using A310's. Did you mean A320's. I would love to see an A310 in MON colours.

I reckon it will be a 757-200 or the A300-600R

I know it's a little off topic..

But do MON sometimes operate the A300-600 to AGP from LGW?

Monarch regularly operate A300 to AGP, and more than likely will be A300 to PFO too..

cheers

You could get a variety of aircraft on this route. I would suspect due to the increasing amount of schedule flights that operate with the A320/A321 you'd most likely get a B757 or A300.

Hi all,

Just to let you know that helped me on this, got a mail from Monarch and I am reliably informed I shall be flying on an A321 which suprised me a little.

Thanks

Did it last year, it was A300-600. 4 hrs late out, 3 hrs late back. This was because the aircraft positions down from Manchester on a fairly tight turnround. Any delays in the previous sector them drag over to your flight. Also found the seating arrangements on A300 very clostrophobic, they certainly pack 'em in.

Good luck!!

Delboy,

Thanks for the info on delays Big grin

Seriously though, interesting reply. I thought a 757/300 would be most likely, 321 as I say does suprise me.

Can I ask what dates/days you flew last year?
