I saw a United Airlines 747-400 in Prague Airport, Czech Republic on 15th Nov. According to UAL's timetable, Prague is not one of its scheduled destinations. Does anyone know why the 744 is there?

Might the stop there have anything to do with the fact that LOT is now a part of the Star Alliance?

Correct

"Might the stop there have anything to do with the fact that LOT is now a part of the Star Alliance?"

No. These flights have nothing to do with the star alliance.

It might have something to do with Poland being part of the so-called Coalition of the so-called Willing. Which is kind of like the Star Alliance.

Just for Info:
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic. The capital of Poland and LOT's hub is Warsaw.

This deals with the Iraq war situation, as they are in coalition with the united states. I gues the US war alliances were compared to Star.

"It might have something to do with Poland being part of the so-called Coalition of the so-called Willing. Which is kind of like the Star Alliance. "

Yes it does. Which is the exact reason why Southwest sends 737s to Warsaw. /sarcasm off

Anyone who thinks these flights are not MAC's needs to reconsider their psychological status
