Dear fellows,

Just wanted to share a 12 minute airbandscanner recording of the last ATC transmissions between the 3 last official concorde flights and London ATC.

Pilots and ATC talk about spacing and timing of landings of the 3 speedbirds.

Gets very emotional at times, lots of farewells and like.

Enjoy

Thankyou Kamran!!

I had been looking for a recording like that since the day it happened.

Missed the BGI departure recording on Monday so I only have once chance left now....

Anyway, thanks again!

I was hoping that someone would have archived this and made it available. Thanks for posting it for us all. Hearing the captain address everyone who was listening to the ATC, as well as the controller asking him to do so, was a real touching and classy thing for them to do, at least in my opinion.

THAT WAS AWSOME.....i remember looking at the picture someone on there snapped of all three lined up for the runway. Now we have the voices to go with it, very very awsome. I can understand them fine you just have to know the language alittle more and grasp the accent. My GF dad is british so its nothing really new to me.

In the search box, type: concorde01.zip

This is Concorde's last departure from LHR.

For Concorde's last arrival, type: concordef3.zip

Flyingbronco05 you didn't understand it? Its very easy to understand it. Very emtional good byes, very sad, I like how the pilot adressed to the people who were listening to the ATC. I have a question, what were those nosies in the backround, they sounded like a machine moving. What were those, Flaps?

I thought the interesting parts were when the controller said they are all rushing out to see Concrode2. And also when the controller let the pilot say something to all the people with scanners listening!

VERY COOL!

25 Shamrock_747 : Thanks for posting! I was lucky enough to be at LHR to see Speedbird Concorde 2, Alpha Fox and Alpha Echo land on runway 27R and then taxi across the
26 PIA777 : Hello guys, I heard something like a machine moveing in the backround. I know concord doesn't have flaps. But i think it was some other A/C. -PIA777
27 CPH-R : PIA777, it might have been the droop nose going to 12,5 degrees down.
28 PIA777 : CPH-R, i think thats what it was. The nose going down. Most likely -PIA777
