IIRC, CO and NW will complete their 753 deliveries for existing orders, i.e. before Boeing shuts down the line. It's not like they haven't ordered them yet. Also, I believe CO converted some of those orders to 738s.

The balance of the NW's 16 753's will be delivered by early 2004. Right now there are appox 3-4 more to be delivered.
NW operates at least 15 B753... the fleet numbers on their website and certificate (http://av-info.faa.gov/OpCert.asp) indicate this. I'm pretty sure the sixteenth and final ship was delivered and those sites have yet to be updated, but if it hasn't, it'll be done within a couple weeks (not into 2004).
(CO) wanted to defer the rest of the deliveries untill 2005 and later, however Boeing decided to shut down the line.
CO didn't want to take delivery of any of their remaining B753 on order, but several ships were too far into production.
