VS/BOS - Little Help?

I probably shouldn't, but I'm going to ask anyway. Can anyone at VS in BOS render me a small but substantial service ? My bruv is travelling VS12/25NOV BOS LHR, with his wife and 3 small children (2 very small, but booked as Children to use the Child Seats). He has assigned seating for his return leg but not on the BOS LHR flight, and is really worried that they won't be able to sit with the 2 small kids between them - he is already stressing big time about the trip etc, and so I was wondering if any kind soul at VS could do anything to help ? He has called VS in the US and in the UK, and received soothing platitudes, but so far looking at his PNR there are still no seat assignments BOS LHR.

His VS record locator is VJS97Q. If there is nothing that can be done, I entirely understand, and I apologise if this is annoying. Thanks in advance for any assistance that you may be able to render.

Best regards
Jonathan.

Sorry, I can't help you on this but I don't know if it is smart to mention his booking code!

Now you can still edit your post, I would remove that...

Frederic

Its only useful to people with access to SHARES, who have access to the booking anyway, and I'd rather give that out than his name in a public forum. But thanks anyway.

Sorry can't help but had a little look for loads and it's pretty full in Premium and econ

Suggest turning up early and doing a little pleading. They are a good bunch at BOS on the ground.

It's probably an A343 which has four seats across the centre section so turning up early, he should get the four across. I take it child no.3 is on the lap.

I thought that, via http://www.checkmytrip.com, you could do preseating?

It's strange that VS cannot arrange the seats of your friends in advance, but still: I believe that VS does not allow preseating for about 33% of the cabin. This means that, when they turn up early, they really have a good chance to get a middle row. And not to forget: people in a situation like this should have priority on which seats they get!

Frederic

That's what we're hoping, Frederic ! CheckMyTrip only works for Amadeus bookings - this wasn't booked in Amadeus.

Try e-mailing forum member VS11.

I believe he/she works for VS at BOS or has something to do with VS in BOS.

One more question for VS/BOS - does the flight arrive at LHR Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. Amadeus says T3, but SHARES says T1, but I'd just like to be sure.

Thanks very much
