Bmibaby are about to put their summer 2004 schedule up for sale which includes 4 new routes focusing around Manchester and East Midlands with Bordeaux being a completely new destination for the airline.

Manchester will see new bmibaby services to Paris CDG, Bordeaux and Jersey. (I'm sure British Airways will love that!)

East Midlands see's a new service to Bordeaux with the seasonal Ibiza flight also being resumed.

No new routes announced for Cardiff, and the summer timetable for Teeside is still being finalised.

Mark

Any idea how many weekly flights they are planning to operate on those routes?

I was going to post this, but forgot Laugh out loud

They also revealed on Children in Need that they're naming an aircraft pudseybaby. It'll have a picture of Pudsey next to it Big thumbs up

Jersey will have a lot of competition on the Manchester route next year, Bmibaby, Flybe. and British Airways (if they continue this service). There was an application granted by the JTA for this route with Bmibaby a few months ago and I did suspect that it would begin next summer. It should drive prices on the route down that has been notoriously high in the past.

Adrian.
