Just out of the hangar for the first time, this is the look for the new Swiss low-fare operator Helvetic.com, starting ops next week. Anyone like it???

We used to have a TV character in the UK called "Mr. Blobby" and I think that this would be the ideal candidate for the Blobby-Plane!

Definitely very eye-catching. Kinda reminds me of a color you may find on a ZIP airplane. I thinks it's cool. Very female, but cool. Anyone know if this was one of the sold AA F100s?

 Big thumbs up

Caution wake turbulence, you are following a heavy jet.

It reminds me something Barney would fly in around the U.S. (referencing Barney the Dinosaur for those that are not around kids a lot).

ZIPs colours are just plain ugly if you ask me.... Canadian Norths are much nicer, even Air Canada's boring old stuff looks better...

I agree it gets your attention. Looks like good and plenty candy if you ask me. I hate the candy and the livery alike.

I do like it actually, the helvetic livery. I have no idea what Mr. Blobby is.

The Helvetic scheme is an interesting colour that I really havent seen before. This thread is the first time I ever saw Zip's scheme, as well.

But yeah, the Helvetic scheme is interesting. Very neat, it makes those F100s look kinda cool actually. And their wings are painted as well, which is something I wish the other majors would do.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Actually, nevermind, it isn't anymore.

Before the first plane was painted the website had a concept drawing with the F100 and it had pink painted wings.

But the image they have there now shows silver wings, so i retract my statement. Darn, wish they'd done those magenta wings. But the silver goes well with the magenta as long as they keep it polished.

Yeah they are all going to be ex AA aircraft from the Mojave. I think there is 8 coming to EMA all together where they are going through the whole process

First Helvetic.com Fk.100 is painted (as you've seen) and should air test today prior to delivery later this week. The second (formerly AA's '65N) will be going into paint shortly, and the third (formerly AA's '68N) arrived EMA yesterday. There are, I believe, 12 former American Fokker 100s for Helvetic on the work sheets for BMI Engineering at EMA.

Well, it´s something... different! But as I look at it a bit longer I really like it. Looks good on the F100. BTW, I´m missing the reg on the fuselage. Where is it painted?

Looks like the new european LCC prefer colorfull liveries. Just look at HLX or germanwings.

But I like it, better than those all-white fuselages.  Smokin cool

Actually I like their website's design even more. Very very cool!!
Plus it's always nice to have a full non-white fuselage.....

Is this company going to do what ZIP did? "all the colors of the rainbow". I don't think that it looked very good on the airplanes untill they scaled back the colors, now it looks good!

nice new Zip scheme there, very mid 90's look to it. Now, funny everytime I meet someone from Europe they complain about the white fuselages over there and how boring everything is but now this is something colorful and it looks like Barney's private jet.. (I'm very anti-Barney) Back to the Helvetic livery, all it needs is a logo on that tail. Enjoy it while you can, before they change their minds in a few months and get an all white fuselage...

25 Srbmod : Like VS340 said, it looks like Pepto Bismol. What next, are they going to paint one the color of NyQuil?
26 Dragon-wings : Well at least its not all white.
27 BR715-A1-30 : Beats the All White, colored tail of the USA.
