Perhaps I missed seeing a topic about this. If so I apologize.
The Nov 21st. Edition of YYZ News had this to say:-
...a temporary resolution has been agreed upon between Canada and Russia which has resulted in Canada lifting restrictions on Russian carriers flying over Canadian air space as well as lifting the restriction on Aeroflot frequencies to/from Toronto. These restrictions were lifted as of November 17th at midnight. Air Canada can now resume using Siberian air space for its Vancouver-Beijing flights and effective on November 27th the Russian government will now allow Air Canada to over fly their air space on its Toronto-Delhi non-stop flights. This will allow the airline to take full payloads and reap full benefit out of this route.
