Looking around in flytecomm this morning I came up with this oddball flight,
Airline United Parcel Service
Flight Number 9809
Departure City (Airport) Ontario, CA (ONT)
Departure Time 11/24/2003 05:12 PM
Arrival City (Airport) Burbank, CA (BUR)
Arrival Time 11/24/2003 05:26 PM
Remaining Flight Time 00:00
Aircraft Type Boeing 767-300
Current Altitude 0 feet
Current Groundspeed 0 mph
Flight Status Arrived
I've seen an error or two on Flytecomm before but this one raises an eyebrow for me. UPS normally operates a B752F into BUR and they indeed get one as well, but a Boeing 767-300? I ain't saying it can't happen, becuase I honestly don't know if a Boeing 763 can operate from BUR, I assume it can since FedEx does it's evening flight normally with an A306, however I've never heard or seen this. Is there anyone in the BUR area that can confirm this or am I looking at another error on the part of flytecomm.

This is the time of year when UPS and FedEx start to put together some very interesting itineraries. Just this morning UPS routed flight 56 (a 757) from Philadelphia to Manchester (NH), and then up to Bangor, Maine. UPS also routes A300-600s through MHT a couple times a day, and FedEx themselves use the A306 here (although that is switching to the MD-10 next week).
I doubt what you saw was an error; the flight almost certainly occured as described.
