During latest month I have seen that Air France, from May 2004, will add two Airbus 319LR to their fleet for Premium Traffic only..Does any one know the route? Is CDG-NYC a good guess?

Thai will add A340-500 & -600s to their fleet during coming years, I have heard the 600-version will be flown on the BKK-CPH-OSL sector.
Anyone with more information and deliveries?

Regards,

Birka

France is getting A 319 LR to fly to these countries....

It would be good a route like LH from let's say Lyon to Chicago or JFK.

Delta used to flying there but a 767 seemed to big for the route.

Thanks for the news

Nick

I hadn't heard about this. Was it published anywhere?

In any event, could AF be considering some sort of VIP service to NY to replace Concorde?

In fact, AF has recently signed a deal with ILFC for a third A319 LR.

FoxBravo,

The deals are posted on the ILFC homepage http://www.ilfc.com/ under press releases.

I got the info from German magazine, AERO International Nr. 11.
Just a small headline under "fleet news".
Then we will see two A319LR in May and an additional in October 2004.

Thanks, Scorpio & Birka. Has it already been decided for certain what routes they will be used on?
