There is an ex-DL L-1011 sitting on HNL's north ramp. The fuselage widget is whited out, as well as a big portion of the tail logo. I could not see the reg #. Anyone got info on it?
QF was having a new 738W pass through, arrived yesterday around 1300 HST.
How many AQ 73Gs have winglets? I counted 2.

The L-1011 might be going to Orient Thai. Back on Sept. 7, another Orient Thai L-1011 being ferried from HNL to Thailand had to land at Midway due to an oil pressure problem.

I believe the L-1011 registration is 735. That is one crusty old plane! Scary to think its going back into revenue service.

That's the ex-DL Tri-Star I saw. It left HNL today @ around 1130 HST.
Does anyone have info on the QF 738W? (Reg #)

According to the registration # listed on the photo info, "JY" is the country code for Jordan. Is it safe to assume that this ex-DL L-1011 is headed to Jordan?
Thanks for all the info ...

That's a good point. However, the L-1011 seen in HNL, may have been of a different registration. As I said, I could not get a read on the reg#. The L10 here looked identical to Sam Chui's pic (great work, Sam!).
Mandala, did you see the reg #? You may be right, and this L10 is headed for your country.

Does anyone know what became of N714DA? That airplane was part of the focus of a book called "Frequent Flyer" by Bob Reiss. It was written in the mid 90's and is an in depth look at Delta's operations. It has chapters on every facet of airline ops from flight to dispatch to ATC to maintenance...I could go on forever. To date, I have only found one picture of N714DA on A.net, courtesy of Mark Durbin.

Jet-Agasguy,
I apologize for overlooking your 1st post, before looking over the photo. "735" sounds like it has been around the block several times. Sorry for my oversight.
