Make sure when you check in to give your number to the agent. I havn't been as luck as Richard28. Everytime I've booked on expedia, my number hasn't transferred, although the Airlines/Rental car agencies have been glad to give me credit.

Hey But also know, you will not be able to print out a Security Document at AA.com as you did not book at AA.com. I tried it myslef but nothing, but I alos recieved miles I did both asked at the gate and online.

do yourself a favor and check both flights on both sites (aa.com and expedia. sometimes one will have a cheaper fare but then u lose the bonus miles from booking on aa.com do a cost beenfits analysis and see what its worth to you.
also, you can put your aa number up on expedia.
