If I book an American Airlines trip on expedia.com, can I still get AAdvantage miles for it? Thanks in advance - Scott

Yes. Just give your AAdvantage number to the agent at check in.

You also get to add your number on the purchase page when booking.

My VS flyclub number is on my profile, and all my points come streaming through automatically - you should be fine.

Rich.

Make sure when you check in to give your number to the agent. I havn't been as luck as Richard28. Everytime I've booked on expedia, my number hasn't transferred, although the Airlines/Rental car agencies have been glad to give me credit.

Yes, but you won't earn the 1000 AAdvantage miles as you would if you booked on AA.com.

Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

do yourself a favor and check both flights on both sites (aa.com and expedia. sometimes one will have a cheaper fare but then u lose the bonus miles from booking on aa.com do a cost beenfits analysis and see what its worth to you.

also, you can put your aa number up on expedia.

When possible, its always better to book through the airline. If something happens and you've gone through an online seller, you can end up getting the run-around.
