Andy,

Well not to get off topic too much but you deserve all the credit, every shot that i have taken is because of your inspiration. Like a good example is today, I am considering going out because of the wet weather and the winds, they could be landing on the 33's, could make for some really good wet landing shots! BTW, i still do have a girl friend....his name is AWspicious!! LOL, he and i log a bunch of time out at YYZ, but seriously i still am with Heather...but there are marrige talks....and that could really cut into some quality photography time....  Love

Is this so called Ontario Flight craft ramp....can a novice like me get some shots of this aircraft at YHM???

That's a small ramp Grant and chances are the Excel bird will be parked close to the hangar doors with Puro B727s blocking some of the view. It is hit and miss to get a good shot to be honest.

Congrats on the pending marriage plans. Looks like I'm headed down that road soon too. YIKES!

Andy,

I'd have to agree with Gmonney that you do take some of the best pic's on the A-net database.

I'll keep you informed with all the tips I can. Actually that reminds me I forgot to mention that while training the FA's they will be deploying two escpae slides on the 738. While I'm at work tonight I'll find out what day and roughly what time they are blowing the slides incase you want to snap a pic of a 738 with the slides out.

Hey... Easy, man! Don't be posting psisht like that about me, dude. Next thing you know, rumors will be flying around YYZ faster than WestJet does turn-arounds!

Just in case anyone in YHM wants to see a 737-800 with two escape slides blown, the Kelowna Flightcraft FA trainees will be blowing two slides, and sliding down them too, on Tuesday Dec 9 around roughly 1230 local time.... and I've been told by KF's Head FA that there are some real lookers in the new hires, so hopefully you guys will get some nice pics for me to drool over...

This flight didn't arrive while I was there today (until 5pm), and it didn't show up on the flight tracker.

Wonder when it is due in or if it arrived later? Anyone know?

I was just going to ask if anyone got any pictures but considering the fact that it never came in would answer my question.

I have heard through friends that are currently in training that they will also be getting a B757. So they will have the 738 and the 752 for the winter. The date for their arrival is unknown at this time but will post as soon as I know.

Andy,

The aircraft was running a day late in england...it will be in Saturday(Dec 6) Morning, not sure what time though.....

Could you get some pictures of C-GGKF/718...left YLW for YHM this afternoon...it is ex-N884AA, KF's latest cargo door mod..

KF is purchasing 2 757's for winter service out of YYZ, one of the 752's is rumored to be HMY's C-GMYH. According to the voices upstairs KF will have around 5 752's in service by this time next year, all in passenger service. Hopefully on day wearing the purolator logo.

Thanks Craig and 1world.

Looks like FIN# 718 arrived last night at 10:42PM. I'll try and get a pic up on here for you. Are the rest of those AA 72's being converted to freighters at YLW?

Not sure if the Sunwing B738 is there yet.

Good to hear re: B757s! Need more sticks in Canada and at YHM.

YHM...sticks, pigs, and 3-holers. I love it.

Cheers, Dripstick

Skydrolboy....will the KF 757's be operated under the KF banner or as part of Sunwings?

If KF is planning to operate 757's themselves, I bet that Purolator will soon be operating the 757F then.

I know that 1 757 will be operated under the SUNWING brand.
Why would HMY give up a 757 for the winter season as that should be the busiest season?

Expansion is good so we will see what happens.

Dripstick,
How did you post that picture of Sunwing? I have been reading up on how to add things to our posts but don't see anything on uploading a gif or jpeg.

Thanks
1world

1world,

HMY is leasing C-GMYH, on a power by the hour lease, very expensive if you operate the aircraft alot like HMY has been doing recently. They want to return the aircraft to the lessor and KF is supposed to be buying the A/C from that company. HMY is currently negotiating for 4 more 752's, not sure from who.

Yyz717,

Purolator will not be operating a 752F until KF can find a cargo door mod that is cost effecient to install themselves, and until they have a hangar big enough to do the mod. The rumored new KF hangar in YLW is not supposed to be built/completed till June 2004, so most likely Purolator will not see a 757 for at least a year maybe more.

Dripstick,

Fate is still undecided on N885AA, possible cargo door though. C-GSHI which was just purchased from Skyservice is up for sale, but will most likely end up as beer cans.

A/C 719 C-GWKF the big yellow taxi is rumored to be parked as soon a 752 gets online in the KF system.

Also in the KF rumor mill is that the man upstairs is trading in his Beechcraft Duke and the IAI Westwind 1124 to cessna for a brand new CJ1.

Looks like things are going well for KF right now.

Andy, did you catch the Jetsgo MD-83 doing touch and gos the other day at YHM? How often does that happen?

It was in the Ontario Flighcraft hangar all week for F/A training. They blew a slide as part of the training. Had to be sent away for repacking.

25 Post contains images Captaingomes : Cool! Hey, Jetsgo hires pilots when they run out of money. Figure they hire 20 at a time, that's an extra $600,000 in revenue right away!!!
26 SkydrolBoy : Nice pics Andy, too bad they couldn't get the blue Sunwing sticker on the tail to match a little better. Craig
