Well.. I guess that explains it. I was out to lunch at about 2:30 when I saw an LH 747 coming in on final. So I quick grabbed my scanner and tuned to final approach and heard it was LH 8164 heavy. I thought it was extremely odd because the last time I saw a LH 747 here was years ago. I knew it wasn't a schedualed flight to to PHL because the crew kept asking the frequency for the ILS to 27R! DAMMIT! Why couldn't I have been off of work today.. I would've loved to have been over there..
Caution wake turbulence, you are following a heavy jet.

Worked that UA 777. If you saw it come in and leave you saw me on the jetway. Well, at least my small contribution. You actually can't see the jetjetway from the webcam its obscured by the plane. It was fligth 800 from NRT. Just a gas-n-go like most of those planes, but it sure did get exciting for a while.
