Sadly I never managed to fly the Trident(nor the VC-10),so there is no choice,the Trident would win every time.

Moving to today,if the choice was flying BA(any short haul equipment) or FR,BA win's hands down for me every time.

A 727 - Trident comparison would be more appropriate. Keep all our American friends happy as the poor old Trident never stood a chance thanks to BEA.
